These terms set out how we work together when PaisleyFinn builds your website. They’re written to be clear and fair — please read them before you book.
By asking us to design or build a website, you agree to these terms. PaisleyFinn ("we", "us", "our") provides website design services to tradespeople in the United Kingdom. "You" means the client commissioning the work.
On this page
1. The service
We design and build a professional website tailored to your trade. A standard build includes unlimited pages, a mobile-optimised layout, a contact form, SEO-ready setup and being made live, normally within 5 working days of us receiving everything we need from you. Timescales depend on you providing content and feedback promptly.
2. Price & what’s included
Our standard website is a flat £199. That price is confirmed with you up front before any work begins, and it covers the build described in section 1. Anything outside the standard scope (for example, custom functionality, online shops, bookings or integrations) will be quoted separately and agreed with you in writing before we start.
3. New-business rate
If you’ve recently launched your trade business, we may offer a reduced rate at our discretion. Any discount is agreed in writing before work begins and applies only to the project it was offered for. The new-business rate is a goodwill offer, not a guaranteed entitlement.
4. Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate business details and any text, logos or images you want included (or let us know if you’d like us to create images for you).
- Confirm you own, or have permission to use, any material you send us.
- Review drafts and give feedback within a reasonable time so we can keep your project moving.
- Make sure your business and any claims on the site are lawful and accurate.
5. Payment
Our website build is a single one-off payment of £199. There’s no deposit and no monthly fee — you pay once and the website is yours. Unless we agree otherwise in writing, payment is due on completion, before the site goes live. Late or non-payment may delay your launch.
6. Changes & maintenance
Your website includes monthly maintenance of up to 5 changes per month at no extra cost, so your site stays current. A “change” means a reasonable content update such as text edits, swapping an image, or updating your details. Larger pieces of work (new pages, redesigns or new features) sit outside this and will be quoted separately. Unused monthly changes don’t roll over.
7. Hosting & domains
Hosting and your domain name are arranged by you, and the choice is yours. You're welcome to use your existing hosting and domain, or set up a bespoke domain if you'd prefer — any costs for hosting and domains are paid by you directly to the provider and are separate from our £199 build fee. We're happy to point you in the right direction, but those accounts and their terms and fees remain between you and the provider.
8. Ownership & content
Once your project is paid for in full, the finished website content we’ve produced for you is yours to use for your business. You keep ownership of any logos, images and text you supplied to us. We may feature a tasteful credit or showcase your site as an example of our work, unless you ask us not to.
9. Liability
We take care to deliver a high-quality website, but we can’t guarantee specific results such as search rankings, traffic or sales, as these depend on many factors outside our control. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the work is limited to the amount you paid us for it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t legally be excluded.
10. Cancellation & refunds
You can cancel before work starts at no cost. More than that, we back our work with a 30-day money-back guarantee: if you’re not happy with your website, let us know within 30 days of it going live and we’ll give you a full refund of the £199. We’d always rather put things right first, so if something’s not working for you, just tell us and we’ll do our best to fix it — but the choice is yours. After the 30-day period, the payment is non-refundable.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the courts of England and Wales.
